Referring to the wife by saying "my children"
(
Part No. 19
;
Page No. 257
)
The second question of Fatwa no.
20229
Q 2: What is the ruling on
a husband saying ''my children", referring to his wife?
Instead of saying "my wife did so and so", he says, "my children did so and so."
A:
We do not think there is any harm in using this reference. However, if he says "my children's mother", it will be better and nearer to the truth. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
