Doing overtime during work hours
The first question of Fatwa no.

Q 1:
I work as an Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) and Mu'adhin (caller to Prayer) in the Awqaf Department. My salary does not meet my family's essential needs. Is it permissible to search for an additional job that does not conflict with my main job?
Please, advise. May Allah reward you!

A:
There is nothing wrong in doing so as long as the second job does not conflict with your main job.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
